Joining the Squash Section; Already a HKFC member
If you are already a member of the Hong Kong Football club and you wish to join the squash section then it is very simple.
Go to the reception desk on the Ground floor and fill in an application form to join the section. They will pass the form to accounts who will notify the squash section once they have processed your form.
Non-members – Joining the Squash Section as a Sponsor.
Currently the club is full and the only options for a person to join the club is through the Sports Preferred membership sponsored by one of the main sports sections (details below) or through the benefits of a corporate sponsorship. Non-members – Joining the Squash Section via Sports Preferred Membership
Normally we hold trials in May – July for the Hong Kong Squash league season which usually runs from October to April.
We have approx. 29 teams playing in the Hong Kong Squash league playing once a week; there are different teams playing on each night from Monday to Friday in main league, Ladies League and Masters league.
For sports preferred members (SPMs), sponsored by the squash section, this is limited to spaces available on the squash teams. Joining as a Sports Preferred member involves a certain commitment. This includes being available to play for your team for 75% of the matches, playing a minimum of 50% and also participation in squash section events, minimum 4 events per year. Events are made up of Socials, Tournaments, Inter-club matches, Tours etc.
For SPMs it is expected that they practice regularly and are expected to be visible around the section and should aim to be playing 3/4 times a week in order to maintain their fitness and improve their game.
It is not necessarily the best players we take on but those who will fit into teams where there are vacancies and who are active sports people and willing to support the squash section.

The deadline for applications for the 2024/25 season is 31 April, and trials will take play on 18 May.
